Stuart Tibbs, Senior Economic Adviser

I spent 7 years as an economist with DFID in Africa covering Kenya, Somalia and Zimbabwe. I got involved with much of the department’s work in these countries, including health, education, governance and environmental matters. But my deepest interest has always been in growth – growth of the type that gives enough jobs in low income countries. In April 2013 I took the chance to move to our East Kilbride office to focus on the department’s work on job creation and economic development.
